On 26-28 June 2022, a study tour of the Forum Working Group on Public and Inclusive Health to Istanbul (Turkey) took place. The meeting was dedicated to how to build effective interaction in the face of changes for civil society in Russia and the restrictions associated with COVID-19.

Representatives of ten organisations from Russia, Estonia and the Netherlands – members and supporters of the EU-Russia Civil Society Forum took part in the study tour. The meeting was held in a hybrid format, and some participants joined the event online.

As part of the study tour, the participants visited the Positive Living Association in Istanbul, which works with people living with HIV, and also met with colleagues and experts from Turkish and Armenian public health organisations.

The participants of the study tour paid much attention to the joint work on the development plan of the Working Group in the current conditions, discussion of cooperation opportunities within the framework of the Forum, as well as the search for alternative sources of funding.
