Off-University
Off-University creates new strategies to uphold and sustain academic life and knowledge threatened by anti-democratic and authoritarian regimes. It was established for and by academics from Turkey yet addresses itself to academics all over the world: academics who have been purged from their institutions, forced to resign, who are legally and politically persecuted and even imprisoned because of their opinion and research.
Inter Arts Center
Inter Arts Center (IAC) is a platform for artistic research and experimentation, and part of the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts at Lund University. It acts as a meeting place and a work space for researchers and artists who use the facilities for short or long-term projects. IAC also offers five residency programmes in cooperation with partner institutions.

The Investigative Journalism Intensive program teaches nonfiction writers and journalists to use investigative research techniques as they create compelling narratives.
University of Dundee
The Scottish Human Rights Defenders Fellowship was established in 2018 to support those at risk for their work in protecting human rights around the world. The Fellowship was an initiative of the Scottish Government and was developed in collaboration with the University of Dundee.
Harvard Scholars at Risk
The Scholars at Risk Program at Harvard has been the largest, most vigorously active, and most successful program of its kind in the country, and perhaps in the world. A member of an international network of participating universities, Harvard SAR has provided sanctuary to dozens of professors, lecturers, researchers, artists, writers, and other intellectuals who are at risk.

Netzwerk Recherche e.V. (NR) is a registered not-for-profit association of journalists founded in 2001. NR is an independent organization, and only pursues goals with a clear public benefit. The organization seeks to improve the quality of media coverage using investigative methods of journalism.

The John S. Knight Journalism Fellowships at Stanford University
The John S. Knight Journalism Fellowships (JSK) support diverse journalists from around the world who are creating solutions to journalism’s most urgent problems. The programs focus on helping these journalism leaders succeed as effective change agents, improving the access to information people need to create and sustain democratic communities.
