MitOst
MitOst is a network organization that enables activities and programmes which foster cultural exchange, active citizenship, social cohesion and sustainable urban and rural development – beyond cultural, sectoral or linguistic borders. As part of a growing pan-European network, MitOst supports citizens in participating actively in their societies and in acting according to democratic principles.
Institute of International Education iie
IIE’s mission is to help people and organizations leverage the power of international education to thrive in today’s interconnected world. IIE believes that when education transcends borders, it opens minds, enabling people to go beyond building connections to solving problems together. IIE’s vision is a peaceful, equitable world enriched by the international exchange of ideas and greater understanding between people and cultures.
Inter Arts Center
Inter Arts Center (IAC) is a platform for artistic research and experimentation, and part of the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts at Lund University. It acts as a meeting place and a work space for researchers and artists who use the facilities for short or long-term projects. IAC also offers five residency programmes in cooperation with partner institutions.
Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen
ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) is Germany’s oldest intermediary organisation for international cultural relations. It promotes a peaceful and enriching coexistence between people and cultures worldwide. ifa supports artistic and cultural exchange in exhibition, dialogue and conference programmes, and it acts as a centre of excellence for international cultural relations. It is part of a global network and relies on sustainable, long-term partnerships.
Voice Project
The Voice Project’s goal is to be on the front lines defending those who use their voice to speak out.
Vermont Studio Center
Vermont Studio Center is an organization that by its very existence communicates that art is an expression of spirit through form, and that the arts and their creation are sacred, timeless trusts.
Viesulas Estate
The Viesulas Estate works to preserve and protect Viesulas’artistic legacy, and foster knowledge of and appreciation for his art through exhibits, scholarly research and artistic initiatives. Viesulas’ art reminds us of the human aspirations of independence and freedom of expression.
Martin Roth-Initiative
The Martin Roth-Initiative protects artists who are committed in their home country to the freedom of art, democracy and human rights by enabling temporary residence in Germany or third countries for the purpose of protecting those who are being persecuted.
Harvard Scholars at Risk
The Scholars at Risk Program at Harvard has been the largest, most vigorously active, and most successful program of its kind in the country, and perhaps in the world. A member of an international network of participating universities, Harvard SAR has provided sanctuary to dozens of professors, lecturers, researchers, artists, writers, and other intellectuals who are at risk.
Eyebeam
Eyebeam was established in 1998 by John S. Johnson as a resource for artists to engage creatively with technology in an experimental setting. Eyebeam believes that artists can help us visualize and realize a more just future. Eyebeam enables people to think creatively and critically about technology’s effect on society, with the mission of centering artists in the invention and design of our shared future.
