NGO Development center announces a call to a new distance course “Sustainable Development Goals for the NGOs”. The main idea of the course is to introduce SDGs to the non-governmental organizations in Russia: they seek for sustainable development of their communities and regions on practical level, but it is usually challenging for them to communicate it properly to wider audience and potential donors.

Distance course students will be able to:
– learn what “sustainable development” is and how it relates to NGOs;
– evaluate the contribution their team makes to the sustainable development of the region, and understand how to become more effective in this work;
– learn to promote represent their work in terms that are generally accepted today at the international level, and use it for their own fundraising and public relations.

Who can become a student of the distance course?
It is possible to study alone or as a team from your organization (up to 6 people).
The course will run from May 15 to June 4, 2019. The process will be organized in such a way that you can create your own training schedule – listen to lectures and complete tasks and tests at a convenient time for you. Each week will open a new series of materials (new module), which will need to learn before the next module. This will take about 2-3 hours per week.
Basic PC user skills are enough in order to complete the course.

Language: Russian.
